Journal Article Notebook
This notebook was initially created for undergrads at UC Berkeley taking the Neurobiology of Disease course when I was a graduate student instructor. This course was an introduction to careful analysis and reading of primary literature for many students, and this notebook was designed to be a companion for concise note-taking to extract the most important distillations of information from a lengthy article.
Many students found the notebook helpful for focusing on key points from the articles. This notebook has now been used by educators all around the world. Please feel free to incorporate the booklet in your teaching and mentoring too!
Print the document “double-sided, flip on short edge” for best results
